Overview

The HVAC Service Manager will primarily focus on managing the field operations of our HVAC service team, ensuring that the technicians are supported in delivering exceptional HVAC service to our customers. The role requires strong leadership skills along with technical expertise and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will drive the team's performance in the field, ensure that the services meet industry standards, and exceed customer expectations.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  •  Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HVAC technicians. Provide support and guidance to ensure they operate at peak performance and adhere to company standards.
  •  Project Management: Plan, schedule, and manage plumbing projects, ensuring calls are completed to the highest standards.
  •  Technical Support: Provide hands-on technical support to field technicians, assisting with complex service issues and repairs as needed.
  •  Safety Compliance: Ensure that all technicians comply with safety regulations, codes, and standards while completing jobs.
  •  Customer relations: Maintain good communication cross-departmentally and with clients, ensuring excellent customer service.
  •  Performance Monitoring: Evaluate technicians' performance. Implement regular training to enhance technical skills and quality of work.
  •  Operational Oversight: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the service department, ensuring department projects are completed on time and within budget.
  •  Sales & Reporting: Track and analyze sales performance of team, identify opportunities for growth and areas needing improvement.

 

Qualifications:

 

  •  Minimum 5 years of HVAC field experience with proven strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems.
  •  Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  •  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and goals-driven environment.
  •  Strong problem solving and customer service skills.
  •  Strong understanding of HVAC systems and codes.

 

Physical Demands:

 

  •  Stand/Sit: Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the time.
  •  May be required to bend, climb (Stairs/Ladders), do repetitive motion, kneel, reach, squat, stand, crawl, walk, and run.
  •  May be required to drive and sit for long periods of time.
  •  Must be able to maneuver up to 75 lb. by lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling.
  •  May be required to work in outdoor weather conditions.

Pay Transparency:

 

The average starting rate for this opportunity ranges from $70K-$120k/Annually. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility. We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
